The $12.50 Legacy
In 1918, our great-grandparents bought the first 12 acres of this land from the Bank of England for exactly $12.50. It wasn't much back then, but it was a start.
Our Grandpa was the visionary—he worked tirelessly to buy up the surrounding acreage, piece by piece, to create the 950-acre farm we call home today. He believed that land wasn't just something you owned; it was something you took care of for the people who came after you.
The Peak is Our Weather Station
If you want to know if a storm is coming to Robin, Idaho, you don't check an app; you look at "Old Tom." That peak has watched over four generations of our family.
It tells us when to get the hay in and when to hunker down. It's the namesake of our operation because it represents the steadiness we strive for in everything we do.
Six Generations (and Counting)
Doug is the 4th generation to steward this soil. You'll find him out with the herd every day, usually with a grandkid or two in tow. While the 5th generation works the ranch next door, they're still part of the fabric of this land.
We're currently raising the 6th generation right here. Whether it's gathering eggs from the chickens or double-checking that the gates are latched, the kids are learning that good food comes from hard work and healthy land.
